The tumultuous molten center of the earth creates a fierce, magnetic field, protecting us from deadly sun flares. Without this massive invisible shield, emanating up and out through layers of crust, water and rock – protecting and guarding us with a steely determination as a mother Grizzly to her newborn cub – we would shortly become a dead planet.
What is the core that protects and guards your soul, thrusting a fiercely protective shield against the destructive flares of daily experience? I am guarded by truth and memory as both endure long after I have passed. Any more than truth and memory and I spin and twist in the fissures of desire, distractions, and false need for more . . . And more . . . And more.
Daily I walk strange avenues, traverse foreign highways and terrain, my heart is lightened by memory, lifting me, floating above any disappointment or discouragement.
